  • A big rudd is strolling along a reed bed. It has not seen the huge pike yet, but she surely has seen him. With minimal fin movement she is manoeuvring herself into attack position. European lakes can have this soft, coolish, green-blue colouring, like if a lot of milk was thrown into it, which makes it quite atmospheric to snorkel in.
