  • This working sketch is then transferred onto a prepared wooden panel. At least five layers of acrylic paint must be applied for achieving rich colouring and coverage. When these basic colours are in place the final phase is reached. Depth, murkiness and atmosphere are created by using diluted layers of acrylics.

  • Quite a painstaking proces you think? It absolutely is! But in the end we have a totally original and very realistic painting of a wild animal, even if we might have never seen the animal in the wild itself! Of course this result would be impossible to achieve without extensive experience in the outdoor.
