  • We all know barn swallows in spring and summer. But in the autumn they literally fly out of scope when they migrate all the way to southern Africa. There they fly hapilly among giraffes on course to their communal roosts. Arriving there in huge flocks, sometimes up to millions of birds, they find rest and safety in numbers.
