- The Blue Marlin is the king of fish to me. Everything is special about this fish. It is incredibly big (it can grow over 15 feet long), incredibly fast (probably 80 km per hour at least) and incredibly beautiful. The striping one its flanks one moment shines a radiant blue and is gone the next. Often it kills its prey by stunning it with a fast blow of its bill. I wanted to show this in this painting.
