‘Two worlds’

  • 'Two worlds' common dolphin painting Jeroen Verhoeff
  • .
  • Two worlds meet in this painting; the cory’s shearwater that soars seemingly effortlessly just above over the water and the short beaked common dolphins that just as effortlessly seem to race just under the surface. This painting was quite a challenge, the reflections of the bird on the water and the horizontal transformation of the shapes of the dolphins because of the refraction of the light and the waves took some serious extra study.
